The train just came to an abrupt stop

whale1 bIt was numbing! I was watching the game and then it happened. The Ducks scored and my mouth just dropped open.

At the beginning of the season many people, including sports reporting personnel didn’t think the Canucks would even make it to the post season. They showed them. They’re also the first Canuck team in a few years to make it past the first round.

Considering they had a number of injury’s as the playoffs went along I believe they did the best they could with what they had. Should they have kept their feet moving more? Yes. Should they be a little more physical? Yes. and always, always keep your eye on the puck.

We may have not made it past the 2nd round, but we’ve shown the team has heart and people better watch out for next year.

Go Canucks Go… see you at training camp later this year.

rd-logo panelRIMMER: Mayday! Mayday! I wonder why it’s “Mayday.”

LISTER: Eh?

RIMMER: The distress call. Why d’you say “Mayday”? It’s only a bank holiday. Why not “Shrove Tuesday” or “Ascension Sunday”? Ascension Sunday! Ascension Sunday! The fifteenth Wednesday after Pentecost! The fifteenth Wednesday after Pentecost!

LISTER: It’s French, you doink. It’s “m’aidez”. It means “Help me.”
