Giants give it their all, but it just wasn’t enough.

April 3rd, 2005 No comments

Last night the Vancouver Giants lost 3-2 to the visiting Kelowna rockets meaning the rockets win the series and move on (Series 4-2 for Kelowna).

The Giants gave it all they had, but it just wasn’t enough for last years memorial cup winners.

The loss did come in front of a record home crowd of 16000+ fans filling the place to the rafters… I’m told that’s the largest number of people to attend a game in the WHL.

We wish the Giants a good off-season to re-coup and a great season next year to come back and show the WHL what they’ve got.
